"Very nice bed and breakfast in very nice house surrounded by green garden. approximately 15 miles from the nice fishermen village Ullapool. The entrance from the road is marked with a very small sign that can easily be missed.There was no T.V in the room since the place is isolated."

"Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away."

"It is a great view! Easy to park just over the road. Plenty of breakfast items and fruit provided. It was a bit cold when we arrived but once the heating was on we warmed up. Bed comfy, big telly."

"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "Rowan Cottage is a super cute place to stay. It is nestled in the forest which would be a great place to explore if I brought my little ones. (Next time for sure). When we entered it was nice and toasty warm. The lounge and kitchen had everything we needed. The house directions/expectations were easily found. Loads of space and I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Thanks!!"

"Remote location with a beautiful beach and good hiking options right from the hostel The beds could be more comfortable, and there are no bathrooms in the rooms. For some the bathrooms and showersmean a walk outside. Cooking facilities are good and the staff are very helpful and friendly"
