"The room was clean and the motel has a nice large grass area for our dogs to run on leash and potty. There is a BBQ if you want to make some lunch or dinner. The pool looked nice but I didn't use it. The only thing that really bothered me was all the people smoking on the pet potty lawn and not just cigarettes. There are cameras everywhere but no one came out to tell them to stop. It clearly says in the email that it is a smoke free property. Oh, and one hour after breakfast started all the biscuits were gone for biscuits and gravy and the sausage was dried up and gross. So we and get to eat."
SCP Mendocino Coast Lodge

"The SCP staff were really fantastic. My girlfriend and I booked a place at the Coast Lodge location. The place was great, and the ocean view was fantastic, but we didn't realize there aren't any trail/path options for walking, and we have an active dog. We asked if we could switch to the Farm location, and the staff went out of their way after hours to move us even though it was difficult because our reservation was through Expedia and not directly with them. They even upgraded us to the cottage location, which was wonderful, at no additional cost (it would have been much more than what we originally paid). If you value nearby trails and beach access without driving, or if you have a dog, go with the Farm location. If you're happy driving to the beach and just want to enjoy fantastic ocean views from the porch on the bluff, go with the Coast Lodge location. We will definitely stay with SCP again in the future."

"Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. The restaurant is closed, and the pool is closed. The room needs updating. But you can see that they are working to make things better. We will come back again.🙂"

"We enjoyed our stay here, property is very cute and walking distance to beach and shops/restaurants. The bed was on the harder side and the traffic was a little noisy from the road but otherwise no complaints!"
SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm

"This place is really nice! Rooms are adorable and the grounds are beautiful. Easy trail access to Van Damme beach and the trail itself is lined with wildflowers and lovely views. Nice chicken enclosure where you can feed them and the Llama are so cute! Breakfast delivered to tour room in the morning was very nice and the pizza restaurant had a nice selection of pizzas and salads. Super nice staff as well! Highly recommend!"

"Breakfast was awful. Hard potatoes, cold eggs out of coffee. Day 2 was worse. Couldn’t check in until 3 unless we wanted to pay an additional $50.00. You must’ve kidding. Ridiculous & gutsy. "
