"What a quaint place to stay. Only a block from the beach where you can rent umbrellas. The host is lovely and talkative and knowledgeable. Each room is different in its own way. Breakfast is served on time each morning offering coffee, juice, and then 3 courses. Pool was nice and they offered plenty of towels for the pool/beach. Snacks and refreshments were available all day long. I will say that we encountered a couple bugs during our stay but with people coming and going that is expected. Parking was easy and right out front. There are stairs on both sides of the property. "

"Overall 4 1/2 stars!!! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has every amenity most families want when traveling to this area. It was perfect for our family of 10 which is 3 generations. A few issues - The lights inside the pool are broke, so we were disappointed that we were unable to swim in the pool at night as we had planned. We also felt it was disrespectful & intrusive that the maintenance person showed up at the house 3 times during the week to do routine maintenance such as clean the pool, mow the lawn (right next to the pool) & change light bulbs. General maintenance should always be done between renters. We rented a 5 star, very expensive house with 5 star expectations and should not have experienced these inconveniences. We spoke with one of the owners and he acknowledged our frustration. A few recommendations would be fix the lights in the pool and better procedures in place with your maintenance staff. Overall we loved the house!!!"
"We spent a lovely week in Tybee Island. The house was exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out. I did miss the fact that one of the bedrooms was only accessible from inside the garage. It is a very nice space (once you are in it) but it is cut off from the rest of the house. It wasn’t listed but there are beach chairs, a couple of boogie boards and, small umbrella and beach toys in the garage which we greatly appreciated. Be sure to bring beach towels as only bath linens are included with the rental. Great kitchen and perfect for our breakfast and lunch needs. We went out for dinner every night. Several restaurants within walking distance as well as a liquor store, and sweet shop for dessert or ice cream. Quick drive (or a bit of a hike) down to South Beach area with shops and more restaurants. Aside from two very rainy days, we have no complaints and would love to return to Tybee! "
