"The porch and outdoor furniture were noticeably unclean. The yard looked like it hadn’t been swept in several days, and the seating areas were dirty. Breakfast was another issue, which was especially disappointing considering this was a bed‑and‑breakfast and I stayed for two days. On the first morning, I went to check on breakfast around 9:25 a.m. and was told it was served at 9. There was no indication that I needed to be there exactly at 9 a.m. or that breakfast would not be available afterward. The man at the door questioned me abruptly — “You staying here? Which room you staying in?” — which made me uncomfortable. A barefoot woman, who I assume also worked there, added, “Sorry, no breakfast, you should have come at 9,” even though it wasn’t even 9:30 yet. The next day, I didn’t return for breakfast. As I was leaving, I saw the same man. He looked at me and said, “You miss breakfast again,” almost as if he was taunting me. I smiled and walked away. He then asked, “You’re leaving?” I nodded, and he replied, “Come back again. Hope you enjoyed your stay.”The entire experience left me disappointed."

"Bring beach towels unless you'd like to buy them at the service desk for $20 a piece. I'll just bring a room towel you say? They got you, you just bought a room towel. "

"Lovely clean cabin, easily sleeps six. 5 minute walk to the beach. Only negative was construction next door, loud and constant until 7:00 pm each night we stayed (3)."

"Great location, with very easy beach access. Convenient to everywhere on the island. Nice layout and great bedroom space, a perfect spot for a multi-generational beach trip. We have stayed at this property several times and will again. Thanks!"

"Great place to stay on Tybee! Large living areas and 4 bedrooms, however one bedroom is on 1st floor without access to bathroom on that floor. Also, the pull out couches upstairs in other bedrooms were not functional. Recommend replacing or getting daybeds for those areas. Beds are soft and plenty of pillows and blankets provided. Kitchen was well stocked. Wonderful decks on top 2 floors with view of ocean, even if it's between tree tops. Great location on North Beach walking distance to lighthouse, Ft Screven, and North Beach Bar & Grill. There is also a little marine science center in that area that our younger kids loved. Only complaint was the Hot Tub needed cleaning when we got there, which they did on day 2 of our trip. Rental company was very responsive. Highly recommend staying here!"

"We liked, but didn't love our stay at Kittys Cottage. The house itself was clean and neat, the backyard needed some work. Postives: it is a very big place upstairs, and the 2 bedrooms were private and very nice. The table out back we ate most meals at. It was a very short walk to the beach and the parks. Super close to restaurants and a convenice store. There was also A TON of books, almost like a library. Negatives: the backyard looks nothing like the pictures on the site. Most of the chairs in the pictures no longer exist, and the yard needs some TLC. Leaves etc all over the place. The pool heat broke the 1st day, but they got it back up and running withing 36 hours. Some sort of a mix up, a realtor was showing the house the 2nd day of our rental. The prospective buyers acutally showed up before the realtor. I had no problem with it, (because i was there.) but had it had only been my wife and daughter there would have been a problem. "

"Great location and comfortable accommodations. The host was responsive and friendly. We like to do our own cooking and the kitchen was light on essentials like mixing bowls, measuring cups, and serving dishes. But in general we were able to work with what was on hand. Would stay here again. Thanks!"
