"Was the only place available in Twizel that was available for the dates we wanted, but all good in our Motel unit. Nice surrounding area, short walk to check out the lake."

Well equipped kitchen for self catering with basic kitchen supplies provided, thanks. Great range of children's toys & books to keep little ones entertained. We had cloudy night skies but the absence of ambient lighting would make star-gazing a treat. We really enjoyed our one night autumnal stay."

"A fantastic place to stay. We had a room on the second floor which was fine as there was a lift as I was in a moonboot. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was dark. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful."

"An old work camp from the 1960s (?), now with a big commercial kitchen, lounge, & individual bedrooms, some with bunkbeds, others with a double bed. It serves its purpose, but definitely not posh!"
