"It was a great location, and a quiet spot to camp for a few days. Good amenities, nice quiet private lake and kayaks. This being June, bring bug spray and citronella. The bunkie is excellent, a nice retreat if it gets too wet outside and the composting toilet is a nice step up. Kitchen area is nicely sheltered, so cooking in inclement weather is not an issue."

"Carine was so friendly and we felt so welcome. Captain was on the same property as the main house though because of the sound of the river it was like we were miles away. There was a power outage the day we checked in, but they kept the generator on so that we could turn the light on and unpack. And clean. Clean, clean, clean clean. I have never in my life been in a house, so clean in my life!"

"My husband and I booked the cottage in early spring 2025 for our wedding ceremony and reception in May 2026. We were uncertain whether the dock would be installed for the ceremony, but Kim worked with us to make sure we had the ceremony of our dreams! The cottage was beautiful and blew our guests away. We used the grand room for our reception and were able to move and store the furniture to set up the space the way we wanted. With Parry Sound only a 30 minute drive, we were able to order fresh pizza for late night. Everything turned out beautifully and we only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities."

"We had a peaceful, quiet stay in the woods! Everything was clean, comfortable and the cabin had all of the essentials. We loved unwinding in privacy, doing puzzles and watching old movies in front of the fire. George was easy to reach and helpful with answering questions. Would recommend if you need a quiet break! "
