The Milky Way Cabin
Welcome to the Milky Way Cabin!
A few years back we stumbled upon what we believe to be one of the most unique views of Joshua tree. We thought it’d be the perfect place to design and build a modern day cabin.
Our goal was to create a cozy and private space while creating an immersive experience; designing a bed-size skylight to sleep under the stars, large windows and openings to showcase this secluded location and the beauty of the desert, and an intimate patio with heated spool directly facing Indian Cove - the only feature of Joshua Tree National Park visible from outside the park boundaries.
The house offers unobstructed views for miles, neighboring over 400 acres of BLM land, while being a 10-minute drive to town.
We hope you enjoy swimming in the heated spool, the outdoor shower, eating s'mores by the fire pit, bathing in the freestanding tub, sleeping under the bedroom skylight, warming up by fire place, watching a movie on the projector, contemplating the unobstructed desert view and the beautiful night skies..
The space is best suited for 2 people, but can sleep 4 with the queen futon.
