"This property is in a breathtaking location, backed up against beautiful boulders and lovely landscaping. The private outdoor area is excellent for exploring (the onsite cave is awesome) and hiking. We relaxed and watched the meteor showers while floating in the refreshing saltwater pool and invigorating jacuzzi, and viewed stunning sunsets from the terraces. The owner's massive library of books will appease the bookworms and the culinary supplies are a home chef's dream. The home was clean and well-stocked for a pleasurable stay. The owner and host, Dale, was a very interesting, helpful and friendly person. He was very thorough in his orientation to this unique property during our checkin. We will be coming back again."

"I’m so happy to stay at 9 Palms, I’ve been taking care of my dad and back-and-forth from San Diego several times over the past few months. It’s so nice to have a clean quiet place to crash out with wonderful AC and a private bathroom. Love parking is right up front from room. Nick is an absolute sweetheart, and a joy to know. Be sure to check out the amazing crystals in the lobby and enjoy the view at sunrise."

"The property was great! The bed was so comfortable I slept over 8 hours one night! The hosts were so responsive to my questions and very helpful in getting to know the area. I would definitely stay here again. It was so quiet. I even saw some coyotes on a couple of the days."

The Leeds Cabin: A Civilization Escape + Hot Tub

"The Leeds Cabin was exactly what my husband and I were looking for after spending several days in the busyness of Anaheim while he attended a work conference. Communication with Ryan was fantastic throughout. His instructions & recommendations were spot on. The kitchen had all we needed - including coffee! And a cute roadrunner even showed up our first morning, which was a special treat. No coyotes or ACME boxes though. When we were first driving there, I have to admit that I was questioning my choice, but once we got there and got settled in, I was glad that was the spot we chose. We ventured out for dinner the first night and then spent the day at Joshua Tree National Park the 2nd day. We decided to just stop and grab something easy to eat at a local grocery store Saturday night so that we could just relax and enjoy the sunset from the cabin - and I'm glad we did because we had some great views. We didn't walk around much because it was very hot and I had broken my foot days prior to leaving for our trip, so I was in a boot. But I'd love to come back to experience the cabin, the park and the area when the days aren't 110 degrees and the nights aren't 90. Needless to say, we did not use the hot tub. But next time we will for sure. Side note: we rented a small SUV and I'm glad that we had that for the dirt roads, but we saw lots of cars doing just fine on the dirt roads. Thanks for a great stay! And for sending the roadrunner for this amateur birder - nice touch! Ha!"
