Gorgonio Retreat - close to Joshua Tree Park entrance and Marines Base

Welcome to my desert retreat. This recently remodeled nice 3 bedroom house is great for weekly or weekend getaways. The house is the center of the city. 10 minutes from the Joshua Tree (Twentynine Palms) Entrance, 10 minutes from the Marine Corps base. The house is an 1500 sqft recently remodeled home. House is well insulated with mini split A/C in each room keeping you cool in the desert summer and warm during the colder months .
It has a full kitchen, with the silverware, cookware, plates, mugs, glasses and basic cooking supplies such as salt, pepper, oil. Kitchen has new appliances, well stocked with a variety of coffee and teas. Washer and dryer available. There are queen beds in each bedrooms with comfortable sheets and mattresses, and queen sofa sleeper in the living room. This house can fit up to eight people. The house has high-speed unlimited internet. Large fenced-in area in the backyard.
Maximum stay allowed by the City is 29 nights, or 30 days.
No pets allowed.

Joshua Tree

I booked this spot specifically for its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. If you are familiar with towns outside military bases, Twentynine Palms is exactly what you'd expect - which is to say, not much. However, I felt safe and the home is very close to the Joshua Tree visitors center and the entrance to the park.

Family Trip

The check in process was easy and communication was good. However a few things could have been improved. The shower was slow to drain. Both bathrooms had slow pressure making it very difficult to bathe. The kitchen was equipped however there was no soap for the dishwasher. The first aid kit was empty and no bandages. A little bit of attention is needed but all in all good.

Perfect for Us

We needed a place to stay while working nights in 29 Palms. This spot was perfect and we were all happy and felt right at home. The AC units in every room really saved us from those 100+ degree days while sleeping!

Wonderful rental property

Our stay here was one of the best so far in our rental property experience. The house was very nice, super clean and well stocked with everything a person could need. The neighborhood was quiet and clean and very conveniently located for our purposes. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
