Top Twenty-Six Martyrs Museum and Monument Hotel Reviews
THE GLOBAL VIEW Nagasaki
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean room, neat and thoughtful touches in the room. Although not entirely modern finishes, extremely comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. I also appreciated the holiday decorations in the lobby, a beautifully adorned giant Christmas tree. My only recommendation is to install USB connections in the rooms for charging."
"The hotel was perfectly situated in the same building of the mall and adjacent to Nagasaki Station. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. "
"We love the Nagasaki Hotel Forza. Our bed was comfortable and they finally have Wifi available in every room. It's located in a shopping mall and Nagasaki is an easy place to walk in. There's a lovely pastry shop right across from the hotel as well as a few located very close to it. It's an easy street car right from Nagasaki Station. You can also take street cars to the Atomic Bomb Museum and to Glover Gardens. Cafe Hirai, our favorite breakfast place, is an easy walk away from the hotel. "
"Hotel is 1.1 km walk from Nagasaki station. A bit of a walk with luggage or with children.
The street in front is at times busy, and there's space to park one car temporarily in front of the property to unload/load.
We stayed in room 202, in the Standard A room. In the room, I hardly heard any noise from above or below, or from the other second level rooms, though I'm unsure how occupied the hotel was. Hardly heard train or car traffic from inside the room.
Having a washer was nice, but wished it was a washer/dryer combo. We hung dried clothes in the shower room with the dehydrator. There weren't enough hangers to hang clothes, or places to hang dry clothes. They do not provide fresh towels. Given this, if they provided fresh towels, it would be nice, so you don't have to wash your clothes AND towels.
Beds were not hard or soft, just right. There were some outlets around the beds. AC worked well in relatively warm days in November. Fridge was medium size and appropriate. CAT5 was available. I didn't use the WiFi.
Closest 24/7 convenience store is 290 m walk away. No grocery stores or restaurants in the vicinity. Closest transit stops are 300 m walk away. Hotel provides no parking, but there are a total of seven hourly paid parking in front and across the street. All but one were occupied upon arrival. There are some museums, parks, temples, and shrines within walking distance. "
"The daily basic housekeeping was good, with eco-friendly initiatives in mind. The staff were friendly, and with the new self-service check-in and our system it was pretty easy. However, apart from housekeeping I didn't really have much interactions with the frontdesk staff.
There's a self-service luggage system as well with locks so if you want to leave luggage in the hotel pre-checkin or at check-out, you can do so.
