The hotel was located right next to the shopping arcade where there were many stores and restaurants. It was also a short 10 min walk to Nagasaki warf.
The breakfast was wonderful with well balanced food meticulously prepared. Free self serve laundry was so nice to have. Washers & dryers were clean and worked well.
I would stay again.
Hotel was really pretty with a great staff and excellent location right across the street from Chinatown. The onsen was nice to come home to after touring Nagasaki.
Very standard hotel but we had a good experience with friendly staff, clean rooms and good service. The best part was the great location being so close to tram/bus stops and pretty easily walkable from the train station.
This is a little gem, a hip well appointed hotel. Everything is new and nice. Rooms are small for American standards, so if you’re looking for space go elsewhere. But if you’re looking for great value at a very convenient location, this is it. Walk the neighborhood to see some old-Honh-Kong-like scenes. Walk down the river 10’minutes and you hit a beautiful seashore, perfect for a sunset watch dringkinf a beer peerside. Thanks the 1 trolley and in 15 min you’re at the Atomic Bomb and Peace Park.
We had a nice stay in H2 Nagasaki.
The service was amazing. We used the public bath, the free laundry machines and the pretty good breakfast.
If someday we plan to visit Nagasaki again, for sure we will stay at H2 again.
A nice hotel with a perfect location. Just outside there are trams, airport bus, shopping streets and restaurants. It is also walking distance to the port.
Nice and helpful staff, even if the most of them didn't speak English, but with google translate the most works out fine :)
Nice and quiet hotel which is easy to reach by tram. 7-11 right around the corner and shopping/food street entrance just across the bridge. Room is nice, comfy and clean. USB outlets at the beds didn't work but there are wall outlets so it wasn't a big problem.
Excellent hotel for the price, everything was perfect, we chose eco-plan with no room cleaning but we could change towels every day, good solution for the environment. Nearby the tram, Hamano Machi Arcade, some tourist attractions by foot. Newly renovated, rooms, slept like a King.
Perfect hotel, best 3 stars class hotel, amazing staff, excellent cleaning, beautiful design and newly renovated, nearby everything except Nagasaki Station, you need to take the tram, but still easy. Quiet and good privacy as I like. Public bath on the last floor and washing machines as well.
This hotel is in an amazing location! It is a 20min walk from Nagasaki Train Station, a 12min walk to Nagasaki Port Terminal, and is located across the road from a huge shopping arcade in Nagasaki city. The staff were extremely polite and attended to all of our needs at all hours of the day.
The rooms are small, but very clean and soundproof, so we did not hear our neighbours at all. The rooms also have Western-style showers. The hotel breakfast cost AUD$13 per person, and is small in terms of variety, but convenient and delicious. The hotel is also located around the corner from a major bus stop, which has an airport bus that takes you straight to Nagasaki airport.
I highly recommend you stay at this hotel. My partner and I will definitely be staying here again upon returning to Nagasaki.
The hotel was easily accessible by tram from the main train station, but I definitely recommend taking the bus if you have luggage. Chinatown is nearby, Dejima a fairly short walk and overall it’s pretty nice and central area. The hotel is new and fresh, the staff are really nice and friendly. Although fairly small, the reception and lobby area has a nice feel and has coffee and tea readily available, to sit and watch the busy streets below. Although there are many smaller rooms available, we chose the largest and it was very comfortable by Japanese standards. Plenty of space for luggage, microwave and kettle, with bottled water provided daily. The room was quiet and definitely better than most hotels in the area, in terms of space, cleanliness and modernity. The public bath was excellent, the outdoor starlit sky view a bonus. Breakfast was very good, definitely a lot more on offer than the sandwiches that it suggests. Overall, excellent value for money, definitely more than the ‘business’ hotel it appears to be promoted as. Considerably better than other hotels recommended by trip advisor, that we have stayed at before.
