"We cannot fault it! It felt like home away from home. Great communication, the kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal. The beds are comfortable and the heating system was great making our sleep great even though we had -1 degree at outside overnight. The cottage is a 3 minutes stroll from Melrose Square where you’ll find cafes, restaurants and shops and about 10 from Melrose Abbey. We’d definitely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in Melrose "

The rooms were spacious, light and airy. The breakfast was magnificent with freshly cooked local produce - some home grown. There is plenty of information provided regarding local sights and restaurants. Douglas was more than will to help and advice at any time. If I ever return to the area again I would certainly stay here again without any hesitation."
