"This charming boutique hotel is a true gem! They bake their own bread and pastries, filling the air with a delightful aroma. The lobby is quaint and exceptionally comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax with a book or catch up on work. "Nice townhouse about 15 min walk from the centre of Angouleme. Friendly, attentive owner with plenty advice on places to eat. Tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed and private bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. Parking free on street outside the property. "

"Quite special experience of ‘French Rustic’. Very well done and presented. All necessary facilities and comprehensive self catering equipment provided. Breakfast included, was most enjoyable and offered considerable choice of items. This proved an excellent country stay and well worth trying, but double check route plan - not terribly easy!"

"This appart-hotel is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Angouleme and the comic strip museum is nearby. The rooms are clean with a kitchenette and a shower room. Breakfast is reasonable for under 10 euros. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Altogether a good stay. "

"Perfectly located to stay for an early train departure for CDG. 12 minute easy walk to Centre of Angoulême for large variety of restaurants. The area is not very desirable but it is opposite the train station $ that was the objective. Very clean room but unfortunately no fridge or tea/coffee facility in room."

"Not too bad but the car park is in a poor state and up the street from the hotel entrance .. which is not great when it is raining and you have to drag your luggage along uneven pavements and over bumps and potholes all while getting soaking wet."
