"Had to provide photo ID online before checking in. Had to wait for at least ten minutes before anyone came to reception to check me in. The place felt as if it had been abandoned in the 1980s. Very basic.room. Shower was a dribble, though to be fair, the dribble was hot. Thin though large towels. On a positive note: two packs of custard creams with the teas and coffees. Will not be returning."

As my first time stay at this hotel I was pleasantly surprise on how well equipped the rooms were, from a good variety of hot drinks with the kettle to an iron and hair dryer in our room. "Great comfortable stay. We chose this hotel for the good reviews from previous visitors and its proximity to London Gatwick Hotel. Warm welcome, straight forward check in and a nice quiet night. Rooms are spacious with all amenities you would expect. Parking available on sote for £10. We had an early flight, so left before breakfast. Happy all round and a great way to break up the journey, avoid a long early drive if you have an early flight with kids. "
