" My stay at the Pickwick Hotel in Belize City was wonderful, how accommodating the staff were. Before I arrived I messaged through Expedia and they arranged for a car to be waiting at the airport for a small fee, which made arriving in a new country very easy and stress-free. The two ladies at the front desk were amazing—friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. When one of my tours cancelled last minute, they quickly helped arrange something else so my day wouldn’t be wasted. Justin, who had picked me up from the airport, took me out based on what I wanted to see for a small fee, similar to any tour company. The next afternoon he took me through several local communities where I was able to eat local food and experience Belize beyond the typical tourist spots. Overall, check-in and check-out were easy, my room was clean, the A/C worked well, and my ocean-view room gave me beautiful sunrises every morning. The location was also convenient with restaurants, a supermarket, and the bus within walking distance."

"Good and Friendly staff. However, I don't think exploiting guests via transportation fees is good value add and should be regular practice. A good hotel and service should indeed do otherwise, as we are in your care. Charging 40usd for a trip that took 10mins to walk is very unfair. Also, please ensure bedsheets are clean, having dirty bedsheets isn't a good look for a hotel that should be a luxury hotel "

"I booked here because it had a gym and i like to workout after a day of traveling, only one of the treadmills worked, it was dirty and in very poor condition. The pool area does not look like the photo, it is old and in need of repair, it is surrounded by folding tables and assorted plastic chairs. No hair dryers in the rooms, i had to wash ,my hair in the sink because there was no hot water or water pressure in the shower."

"Lovely water view from our room, a deck would have been a bonus. Very family friendly, will be even more so once the pool is finished being renovated."

"Great location. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the beds are firm and the pillows are too big and firm. One fight in front of the hotel at 3am which we assumed was from the casino patrons. "
