"I have an allergy which I informed the hotel of prior to eating, they assured me they took necessary precautions but unfortunately I was sick after. The pool was closed, with a bunch of trash laying beside. The room was extremely outdated and unclean. We would not recommend, no matter what discount they are offering. "

"The hotel room was immaculate and very well furnished with supplies. The pool area is lovely. The outstanding feature is the staff. They could not have been more helpful and gracious. We felt genuinely welcome. This is a great home base for Belizean mainland travel. "

"Beautiful room, comfy bed - very clean. On-site restaurant was quite good, with very friendly staff & beautiful views of the city and sunset. Across the street from the water, but away from the noise of the city - 2 blocks from the Belize Museum. There was a little noise during the day, due to major construction - to add rooms, a pool and a workout gym - but never an issue at night."

"Loved this property. Nice pool. Restaurant and very quiet. Did not mind the walk as its at the far end of the island. Lovely people. Will stay here again beachfront or pool view is a must!"

"Was surprised and not happy about 10% fee upon checking in. Asked for early check in. Even though all of the staff confirmed that this was a slow time for the hotel (I saw hardly any guests during my stay), the receptionist said they had to have the cleaning staff clean the grounds before they could get a room ready for me so could not get an early check-in. Wouldn't work with me on a credit. What bothered me was they would but need to go through Expedia. Then they said the people that can issue a credit weren't working that day so I was out of luck getting a credit even though I checked out a day early Pools are beautiful, but there are no umbrellas or shade to help with the sun."

"Good for the price. But keep in mind this is a lower end place to stay. A bit strange in that you go up to 4th floor to check in. It’s more like a room rental than a hotel. We felt fairly safe but wouldn’t walk around at night. Onsite parking was important for us. "
