Hotel was clean , good location , close to the beach. No free breakfast, no Microwave in room or full hotel so your forced to eat it daily and not bring take out back to your room.

I chose this hotel because it was centrally located in the Gothic Quarter, which seemed to be close to all of the shops, restaurants and sights that we wanted to see. I was traveling with my daughters so being in a well populated and safe area is extremely important. The staff was always ready to help, extremely accommodating and professional. We only had one unfortunate experience when a member of the dining staff rushed me and my daughters out of the dining room at breakfast time because he said breakfast was almost over even though we had plates of food in front of us. Out of all the hotels I’ve traveled to in the world over 30 some odd years, I had never had that happen. Other than that, our stay was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Barcelona/Gothic Quarter area. I chose it even though it was a little pricey as we were in a suite with our breakfast included, and the room was very nice and gave me and my girls plenty of room to move around in. I missed that there is no pool or fitness center but they do offer a voucher to a very nice and modern neighboring gym about half a mile away. Thank you to Olivia Plaza and its amazing staff for a wonderful Barcelona stay for the 5 days we were there. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.
