"This is a gorgeous house full of Texas-themed decorations. The host was amazing. A local from the area, she offered many helpful hints that made our stay more enjoyable and gave us a personalized vacation. It was like having our own personal concierge! The view from the backyard was lovely. We spent our evenings watching the sunset color the canyon sky and being entertained by the wildlife. The house is just down the road from Palo Duro State Park. We bought a park pass ( as recommended by the host) and were able to go in and out of the park at our convenience. The state park was amazing and we had a blast. Only complaint was I wish we had more time there. No one wanted to leave. We all plan to return soon. "

"This is a wonderful property! Perfect for two people. Very nicely appointed in all ways and quiet. It is convenient to Palo Duro Canyon which was our goal. The views from the back patio are beautiful and with little light pollution, the stars are amazing. We drove and brought all needed supplies with us: food, drinks, hiking gear, etc. Unless you want to drive back and forth to Canyon, TX, it helps to be a little organized and gives you more time to enjoy the area. There is also a small mercantile store as you turn on to the access road to the cabin that carries some items. Really a lovely property and highly recommend. Can't think of a single negative. You won't be disappointed!"
