"We think your chef and kitchen staff are brilliant. We had 4 delicious evening meals while we stayed. The menu was varied and we enjoyed each dish that we tried and it had all been freshly cooked for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had all we needed. Our breakfasts were delicious too, with plenty of choice. All superb!"

"Really enjoyed our overnight stay. The twin room was spacious, beds and pillows so comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. The initial problem with the heating was sorted out very quickly. We had our evening meal here, and can highly recommend the food. What really stands out at The Carpenters Arms, is the staff. Many thanks to Richard, Holly and Paula and to everyone that helps make this such a great place. We would certainly be happy to stay again. "

"Short business trip so was just looking for a cheap place to stay. Single room with all the essentials in a modern block of conference centre type rooms. The main building though is an old country house and is beautiful and used as a wedding venue. Breakfast included was very good. Would have liked to have stayed longer so I could look around the estate."
