"Here’s a polished, compelling review you can use: --- I had a wonderful stay at The Churchill Hotel near Embassy Row in Washington, DC. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with a small refrigerator, which was very convenient. A lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival—it immediately made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The staff truly stood out. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful in navigating the city, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The on-site restaurant is definitely worth visiting—the breakfast was delicious, and the décor throughout the hotel is absolutely stunning. It really adds to the overall charm and elegance of the space. The only downside is parking. The hotel’s parking is $70 per day, and street parking in the area is quite challenging. I ended up parking at the Hilton across the street for $55 per day, which was a bit more manageable. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. Between the beautiful accommodations, excellent service, and great location, it was a fantastic experience. "

"The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, there was a constant noise from what seemed like a water pump or something and the tap water is absolutely awful and there are no vending options within the hotel. "

"Very Disappointing and Not Worth the Price I stayed at Hamilton Washington DC and was extremely disappointed. The entire hotel is old and outdated — the rooms, the furniture, the bathroom — everything looks worn out and in need of serious renovation. The photos on the booking website showed a completely different picture: modern, clean, and well‑maintained rooms. In reality, nothing matched those images. When we raised our concerns at the front desk, we were told: “What do you expect for this price?” — even though the price was far from low. I consider this pure deception. Showing attractive photos online and then providing old, poorly maintained rooms is simply unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel. For the same amount of money, you can find much better options in Washington, DC."

"Check in was rated lower bc of miscommunication with Hotels.com, but it was resolved and they took GREAT care of us after that. Due to the age of the Hotel, they have a 2 pipe water system for hvac. It was still on heat(winter) mode. We had 2 days over 80°, but they gave us fans and allowed for them to be put in window which helped. We were only notified by text message the day of arrival. Just a heads up to check that beforehand if it might be an issue for you. Overall, we would definitely stay there again depending on itinerary of the trip because it was quite a walk to downtown, but definitely doable."
