The West University neighborhood is charming and safe. It is very walkable and quiet.

This location is very walkable; 4th Ave. and downtown are just minutes away. The home is four blocks from the light rail, which travels through the University of Arizona, downtown, and to the Mercado. Trugo Bike is four blocks away, and several ZipCars are available for hour/day rental on the UA campus.

PETS: This is a pet-friendly home, and guests are welcome to bring their dogs! (Dogs are the only approved pets at this home.) There is a limit of two pets, and the associated fees are $58 for one pet and $90 for two pets. (Fees are charged per stay, not per night. For two pets, $58 is included in the initial reservation payment, and an additional fee request is sent after booking.) We ask that pets not be allowed on the furniture and that guests pick up and discard any droppings.

PACKAGES & MAIL: If you need to receive packages or mail during your stay, please DO NOT plan to have anything delivered to the property. Instead, please plan to have packages or mail delivered to an Amazon locker, FedEx location, etc.

Excellent location, great house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Incredible location to U of A, University Ave, Stadium. Host communication was excellent from booking to questions during the stay to check-out. House was well-appointed with amenities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Walkable Neighborhood

This property is just a few blocks to the U of A campus. A few blocks in the other direction gets you to a wonderful gourmet grocery- pizza place. The house is comfortable. Things work even though the house is vintage!

Good house, great location

We stayed here over Homecoming weekend for UofA. It was close enough to be convenient for all the things happening on campus, but still in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house is nice and charming, although it could use a little TLC in some areas. The single bathroom was fine for the two of us, but would have been cramped if we had been using the entire house.

Terrific experience at a house with great character

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! It's in a neighborhood close to two main streets (so it's easy to get everywhere), but still in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We could easily walk to the university, and we could walk to the shops on 4th. Just a lovely location. The house is old, so it's got terrific charm - the perfect antidote to other, more sterile/corporate short-term rental places. We had everything we needed, and the hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again, and we would recommend it to others.

Mixed bag

The neighborhood was quiet, convenient and walkable and seemed safe. The house has some charming features and furnishings but could use a refresh and the bathroom needs upgrading. I should’ve looked more closely at the pictures though it quite do the pictures justice. The outdoor space wasn’t very appealing and we were hoping for a place to be outside some. Otherwise, we were comfortable enough though we did blow off our last four nights for a more luxurious hotel. Bit of inconvenience checking in after dark and initially we only saw one box for key and the code didn’t work. Finally located second box. Once in we found we’d been given the wrong Wi-Fi password and had to call VRBO who in turn had to call property manager to get that sorted out. No other issues.
