Tohono O'odham House: historic adobe close to UAZ with fire pit and more!

This renovated, historic adobe home is in the heart of Tucson's Blenman-Elm Historic neighborhood, just minutes from the University of Arizona and downtown. Landscaped in classic desert style by a regionally known landscape architect and accompanied by views of Mt. Lemmon to the north, enjoy the Southwest scenery with your morning coffee on the front patio, or kick it out back, where you'll find a fully-stocked wood fire pit and charcoal grill, and plenty of space to unwind in nature.

Escape the heat and hang out in the game room, complete with a foosball table, full-service bar and retro-stereo sound system. High-speed Internet, TV, basic cable, Apple TV and surround sound stereo make the living room great for watching your favorite movie or show. A fully-equipped kitchen with updated appliances will bring out your inner chef while you enjoy your visit to the Old Pueblo.

One bedroom has a California-King bed, the second has a Queen-sized bed and the pull-out couch in the breakfast nook can accommodate more guests. A spacious bathroom with a bathtub and ample skylights provides all you need for your comfort. Towels and linens provided. Stays longer than a week will receive optional cleaning services weekly for an extra fee and we provide some beer and wine to welcome you. Tohono O'odham House, named in honor of the indigenous peoples of the region who've made the Tucson desert their home for thousands of years, providing a vibrant artistic culture, reflected in the interior decoration and design.

We stayed 3 nights in October. Kevin's place was just perfect. He has thought of so many little things that made the stay so unique. Not the least of which was the fully stocked fridge! We wish we had more time to enjoy the backyard fire pit. Thanks for a most excellent stay!

Loved the vibe of this super cute home. Very quaint and clean. Above and beyond with refreshments and amenities. We loved the southwest mixed with mid century modern decor. Beds were comfy and the fresh bread and eggs a surprise bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect cozy getaway

We really enjoyed this rental. It had everything you need in a vacation rental and was well thought out. Location was perfect, centrally located in town making it easy to get around. We're planning to stay here again next year.

Sweet little house

Great historic house for UofA football weekends

We enjoyed back-to-back weekends at this house recently. It's a great location to UofA, very clean, has a nice welcome amenity, plenty of supplies and a very nice fully stocked beverage refrigerator. We appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality!

Most Amazing Vacation Home Ever!

I have stayed in many vacation homes over the past 2 years and the Tohono O'odum house is by far my favorite! Books, coffee bar, toothpaste, fire pit, bar, board games, foos ball...nothing was lacking for us! I just hope i can find this beautiful home again when its time for another visit to Tucson!

Great stay in Tuscon!

My family and I had a great stay in Tucson at Kevin’s property! The house was homey and the perfect walking distance to a friend’s wedding. Also in a great central location in Tuscon in general. Kevin was super responsive and accommodated our early check in with our one year old after a long day of travel! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic home in a great location!

Kevin was a wonderful host, he had great communication about our stay and amenities/recommendations. The house is fantastic, lovely, clean, lots of amenities we didn’t even use (stocked bar, backyard/fire pit, entertainment room). We were there for work, so not much time to play, but this would be great for someone who wanted more options than the usual offerings. I l visit Tucson every year and would be thrilled to stay here again.

Great Tucson getaway

Cool historic house in quaint neighborhood 10 minute walk to restaurants, short drive to UA and excellent hiking / mountains. House was well stocked, fun and comfortable with huge, nice, desert backyard. Liked how host managed / communicated. Highly recommended 2 bed / 1 bath for most groups of 4.
