This is true to its name - a retreat. Set up in the hills, it's surrounded by greenery and view at the front of the sea. The perfect place to sit down reading with a cuppa or just stroll around the house. Place is close to both Kennedy Bay/Little bay - stretched of beach that are less busy in Coromandel and hence easier to have good time with kids. The only glitch we had was getting to the key in the lock box. A very human error of being given the wrong code to the lockbox that got sorted once we got in touch with Bookabach's 24/7 support line.
