Good value. Easy living and thoughtful host. You should know that the bedrooms all connect and the bathroom is at the end.

This home has such character and potential. Being built in the early 20th century allows for charm that you cannot find in a modern home these days, including original crown molding and dual staircases. Unfortunately, there are some improvements needed. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, then this is it! The kitchen was very barren, dusty, and things were not set in places that were easy to locate. We had to search for the utensils which were located on an upper shelf in small plastic caddies. The kitchen sink also had a mat that was completely unnecessary and sent water flying everywhere. Sitting in the living room with our family of six was difficult as there was one small couch with some mismatched chairs to watch the small TV. While there were some books provided, no games or interactive things could be found outside of the television. The hardwood floors were quite dusty and the carpeting looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The actual bedrooms were very bare. Only the essentials were in each room. A bed, a side table and a light. The linens were clean and nice, however, no extra blankets could be found and this home is fairly drafty. The house definitely has potential to be a truly wonderful property in the future!
The house is a beautiful house. It was built in 1910 and it has a lot of details (crown molding, flower patterns on the trim, etc.) that you just don't see today. It was a joy to walk around the flower garden that even had blueberries that were just starting to turn ripe. They even left some snacks in the fridge, which was a nice touch.Unfortunately not everything was worth the money.* The towels were clean, but were old and starting to be ragged.* The dish towels were also clean, but many of them had permanent stains on them.* The plates and glasses were plastic (no porcelain or glass).* The coffee cups were styrofoam.* There was no knife or cutting board for preparing food. For the amount that I paid () I expect a little better.I went to the local store and bought a butchers knife, cutting board, coffee cups, and a coffee maker. I left them with the house.I would really have liked to have left a 5 star review, but I just didn't feel like I could. If the above issues are addressed, then the place would be worth staying in again and the price they are asking.
