"This house is in the perfect location for maximizing your time at the Dunes & Zapata falls. We especially loved the beautiful view of the dunes from the porch. As Texans, we were very concerned about having no AC in July, but we were plenty cool, even cold, every night. There are a ton of great touches in and around the house to help us enjoy our time there. The comfy mattresses in the loft were perfect for the kids. We will be back again for sure! "

"We couldn't ask for a more tranquil home with an incredible view of the Sand Dunes which was an easy drive to get to, as well as to Zapata Falls.Barbara is truly a super hostess answering all questions quickly, reliably, and her home had everything we needed - including a flashlight to go to the Dunes at night.We would love one day to return here with our grandchildren!! Anyone who appreciates the beauty and serenity of nature should stay here!"

"Stay was great! We only spent one night as we traveled through this part of Colorado on our way to the Sand Dunes. Only thing we did not like was the mosquitos! Not much a host can do about that though! "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was equipped with everything we needed, very spacious, clean and peaceful. We loved watching the stunning sunrise views over the mountains from the deck, stargazing from the swings, and exploring Great Sand Dunes NP, which was conveniently close by (less than 30 min drive). Kristen was very welcoming and responsive. Thanks for an awesome stay; we’d definitely come back!"
"We were only here for a short time and wish we could’ve stayed longer! It was a cozy space with all the amenities described. My favorite part was stepping outside in the middle of the night to see the brilliant stars. The homemade paintings in the space were a great touch :)"
