The beautifully crafted wooden windows and antique décor give the home a magical feel.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, making cooking easy. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was well supplied with plenty of towels, linens, and essentials. The area is incredibly peaceful—just the sound of wind, birds, and an occasional distant dog.The fenced dog run right off the back door was a huge plus for us and perfect for pet owners. We visited in the spring, with warm days and cool evenings allowing for fresh cool breezes from wht windows. The stargazing from the deck was unforgettable. With plenty of seating, we enjoyed clear views of the Big and Small Dipper, Orion’s Belt, Betelgeuse, and more—just like the night sky before light pollution.What stood out most was the chance to truly unplug. The home was clean, secure, and inviting. There is a TV, but we never used it. Instead, we reconnected and relaxed. We left feeling refreshed and reenergized. If you’re looking for a peaceful, unique getaway, this Crestone rental is truly special.As a bonus check in was a breeze!"
