Tucked into the pines of Tahoe Donner, Hansel Haus reimagines the classic A-frame for modern mountain living — think soaring vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams paired with walls of windows, glass railings, and a clean, elevated design language that runs through every level. The open-concept main floor is flooded with natural light, anchored by one of the home's two fireplaces and opening onto two decks for easy indoor-outdoor living across seasons. It's a cabin in silhouette only — inside, a Thermador-equipped kitchen and Nespresso bar fuel slow mornings and serious cooking, the dining table seats eight in comfort, and the great room is built around long evenings spent together.

Four bedrooms sleep up to 10 adults plus kids, with three configured as primary suites — a King, a California King, and a Queen, each with its own full bathroom. A fourth bedroom with a California King rounds out the sleeping quarters, served by a full bath right next door, and a half bath on the main level handles guest convenience. Down in the basement living area, two queen-size pull-out sofas extend the layout for larger crews, and a loft lounge offers a flexible bonus space — claim it for a quiet morning coffee, an afternoon nap, or an extra hangout zone when the house is full. With three distinct living areas — main, loft, and basement — there's plenty of room to spread out or come together. No pets allowed.

Down in the game room, board games and an arcade setup keep snowy afternoons and post-dinner hours covered, with five TVs throughout the home and 440 Mbps WiFi keeping everyone connected. A propane BBQ on the deck rounds out the entertaining setup.

As guests of Tahoe Donner, you'll have access to one of the most amenity-rich HOA communities in the Sierra — community pool and spa, private beach club and boat ramp, downhill and cross-country ski areas, golf, tennis, an equestrian center, and a fitness room are all part of the package.

Northstar California and Palisades Tahoe are a short drive for ski days, Donner Lake's beaches are minutes away for summer, and Historic Downtown Truckee's restaurants and breweries sit just down the hill.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Heating is available, but there is no air conditioning. Located in a strict Tahoe Donner HOA.
- This is a two-story home with a basement and stairs; there is no elevator.
- The pool and spa are community amenities and are not located on the property.
- Please note your home comes equipped with a Pack'n'Play and a
High Chair.
- Construction may occur at neighboring properties or nearby roads without prior notice, especially during summer months in the Lake Tahoe area. These projects are outside our control and we do not receive advance notice.

Parking Details:
- Parking includes three spaces, two in the garage and one in the driveway.
- Street parking is available May through October only.
- EV charging is not available.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
