INSIDE THE HOME
As you step inside this beautiful home, you are welcomed by a bright open plan living area that offers a comfortable living room, a bright kitchen and dining area with lots of seating. There is a patio off the living room with a BBQ and comfy outdoor lounge chairs. The large primary suite has a private patio and a large four-piece ensuite. On the lower floor guests will find a second sitting area, secondary bedroom suite with a large ensuite and a guest room. Both bedrooms have king sized beds and private access to the lower patio.

Each eligible property is issued 6 guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner Association.  Guests that fail to leave all 6 guest cards in the home after checkout will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children under the age of 3 are free.

Perfect home for snow adventures

Our family of 6 plus toddler loved the house. Clean and well equipped. Great communication by the host. Beautiful quiet location close to snow activities

Great place for snowlovers

This place is just a block's walk to the snow area at the top of this neighborhood. Great for snowshoe hikes, cross country skiing, sledding. We only did a little bit of that and enjoyed hanging at the cabin. The living area is big enough but also the kitchen, dining table, and sitting areas are all close enough that you are always in the action.

Truckee House

Very nice home, great for 3 couples. Tried to use the club pass for the jacuzzi, felt the 17 dollar per person charge was to steep. Overall the home is great. Thanks

Absolutely Amazing Home

We loved everything about this home! The house was clean, nicely updated and kept up nicely. The management company was quick to respond to any questions we had. We have had some horrible stays recently at other places but this one was as close to perfect as you can expect. A lot of nice upgrades throughout the house including nice appliances and plenty of linen and towels. Best of all, we were not expected to completely clean the house as if we had never been there upon leaving like is becoming the norm at a lot of rentals. We will be definitely renting from this management company on all our future visits to the area.

Clean, great kitchen, location

The house was very clean and the property managers were really responsive, even bringing us a regular coffee pot when we discovered there was only a Nespresso type thing. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped, though as always at rentals the knives weren't great. The upstairs master was incredible, with a huge closet and more hangars than you could ever use. The TV in the living room (we didn't use any others) gave us a great place to watch the Olympics from the comfort of the couch and chairs. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for!

Great place, communication could be better

The house itself is great; well set-up, kitchen has most things you need, 'smart'TV's, and there's a great view when the deck isn't piled high with snow! I also like that it has a 'master' downstairs, so great for 2 couples; and lots of bathrooms! But be aware that the cell reception at the house is pretty much nonexistent (ATT anyway). That said, we were not happy with the (lack of) communication from Tahoe Signature Properties. I know the inability to communicate by phone didn't help, but we kept being told something was going to happen and then it didn't. We had quite the storm, so it's understandable things didn't go as planned, but it would have been good to have been given progress reports on a more timely basis (they knew cell reception was bad and we did communicate via text (which was also limited due to the cell reception). We had a bit better communication with them the year before, so I guess the storm(s) overwhelmed them. Still ....

This is probably one of the best airbnb listed properties I have stayed at in terms of cleanliness, furnishing of sofas/beds, dishes etc... The only improvement suggestion I have is if the check out time can be 11 am as we did feel rushed having kids with us to leave by 10 am. Most people are accustomed to 11 am checkout. One additional improvement is the temperature in upper floor was a bit on hot side and wasn't really being regulated well with the AC. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Awesome place.

Beautiful home & views

We loved the Mountain View Lodge. It fit our family of 6 perfectly, and felt very new with modern conveniences and mountain charm. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, and we loved the fireplace. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels! We visited during the 50-year storm, so the house was inaccesible when we arrived because the street had not been plowed, but Tahoe Signature Properties made sure we had another home nearby to stay for the first night. This house is up very high in Tahoe Donner, which means gorgeous views, but also can mean a lot of snow in the winter. We loved it and appreciated the attentive service from TSP during a crazy weather situation!

Wow, what a house!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, everything was excellent, we enjoyed spending time indoors and outside with the family, beautifully decorated and well stocked house with everything you could need for a family getaway. We will be back!
