Each home is provided with Short Term Tenant cards that allow access to Tahoe Donner amenities. Guests have access to public amenities, including the Downhill Ski Resort, Cross Country Ski Center, Snowplay area, Golf Course, Bikeworks, Equestrian Center, and on-site restaurants. Access to private amenities such as the Beach Club Marina, Trout Creek Recreation Center, Northwoods Pool, and Tennis and Pickleball Center requires a valid Short Term Tenant Card and payment of daily access fees at the time of entry. One card is required per person, per day, for guests age 3 and older.
Tahoe Donner Private Amenity Access Update (2026): Private amenities require a valid Short Term Tenant Card and payment of daily access fees. Private amenities are not available to short-term rental guests during select peak and holiday blackout periods (public amenities remain available).

Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request. - Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. - Please note that all Tahoe Donner short-term rental homes are subject to amenity blackout dates beginning January 1, 2026. During these blackout periods, short-term tenants will not have access to private Tahoe Donner amenities, including the recreation centers.
Parking Details: - A maximum of 4 cars can park onsite. - No street parking allowed. - Violations result in fines of $1,000 and up, and revocation of the permit after three or more violations.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property. Great location, beautiful home, loved access to Tahoe Donner amenities. Kitchen was fully stocked and great for cooking. Patio/firepit area was lovely.
A few things that made it 4 vs 5 stars:
1). The guidance on how to use Tahoe Donner amenities was a little unclear/confusing. Also, when arriving we found that only one of the community passes was left for us, which left members of our group unable to access some of the amenities for a day. It took AvantStay over a day to respond on this one.
2). Some small repairs are needed to make this a 5-star property. Toilet in main bedroom runs constantly, couple of burnt out light-bulbs, etc. Nothing major, but a tiny bit of love would help.
3). When we arrived that back patio (including tables, hot-tub cover, grill) was absolutely covered in pollen dust. Understandable -- spring has come very late to the Tahoe area this year, but we would have been nice to have that patio cleaned for our arrival.
4). Windows in the loft need curtains. Hard to have kids sleep up there in the summer (heat, light) -- the sunlight wakes them up early!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to others!

The property and stay was amazing, so easy to check in and out. Nice and private, even though your in a neighborhood. Only issue was the driveway was very icy and dangerous. Could’ve used some salt or sand to help from the slipping hazard.
