Catamount Lodge @ Northstar Village

Have fun w/ the whole family @ this cozy & beautifully furnished 869 sq ft corner sunlit condo- the largest 1- bedroom floor plan in the village. Located on the 3rd floor of the Catamount Lodge in the Northstar Village, steps away from the Big Springs gondola. Skiing w/ the family could not be more convenient w/ a ski locker located in the lobby. Heated, free underground parking right next to the elevator that takes you straight up to the 3rd floor. King bed in Master suite, Queen sofa sleeper in the living room, a twin rollaway in the closet, separate soaking tub, gas fireplace & range, laundry & Smart TV’s w/ cable so you don't miss your favorite games. Many activities to choose from w/ a rec area that includes pools, hot tubs, fitness center, BBQ & game room. Ice skating, movie theater, small market & dining on site. In addition to the rec center, the Catamount Lodge has its own gym, hot tubs and steam rooms on the lobby level. Two bath robes are provided in the unit for hot tub use.

Please note that there is a 3 night minimum over peaks season winter weekends and a 4 night minimum over holiday weekends and summer peak weekends.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start a full load of laundry before departing. The dryer takes a while to dry due to the way it is vented. This helps the cleaners tremendously on back to back bookings.
Leave the keys in the drawer next to the refrigerator unless you need to get back in the building to access the garage. Turn the two thermostats to 60*, make sure patio door is properly locked
Hang locker key on key hook by the door. Empty the refrigerator & take all trash down to the garage. Exit the elevator to your right & you will see 2 blue double doors to your right.

This was a great and very affordable condo in the Northstar Village. It was clean, well taken care of, well stocked, and quiet. The location within the village is perfect to make walking around the facility and it’s amenities a breeze, or out into the surrounding trails on bike or foot! We will definitely stay here again!

Very relaxing/peaceful

Stay was great! Only thing was that the front desk (after hours office for check in) didn’t have our reservation initially so we had to walk around and make a few phone calls before going back to the front desk where we were finally able to get our keys to our room. It was such an amazing place, so nice and clean and worth the money!!

Amazing location and views

We love the Catamont building. By far the best location for being a hop skip and jump away from the gondola. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I really loved the extra Cot in the closet, came in hand for my two kids who do not like to share a bed anymore. We will definitely rent here again.

This place was clean, well-appointed and in the perfect location. About 50 steps Fri. The gondola line. Pros: location, convenience, views, fireplace, washer/dryer, underground parking Cons: during the week everything is closed in the village. Hot tubs were out of order (obviously no fault of the owners, but it really took away from our experience).

Sylvia was awesome getting back to us and communication. This one bedroom is big and beautifully decorated. There’s plenty of storage, blankets and pillows . Kitchen is adequately stocked and has a crockpot. Good WiFi. Underground parking is awesome. All good

This place was nice. The bed was very comfortable, but due to the weather we never got a chance to sleep in it! One note for the owner is to update the soaps in the bathroom. There was mold in the soap dispenser next to the bathroom sink. Once that is fixed this place will be perfect! The location is really great. I'd stay here again!

Spacious, clean, would stay here again.

Besides great location, the condo is spacious compared to other one bedroom we have stayed at in the same building. Sylvia is very accessible and responsive. Just a suggestion: some of the dishes may need to be replace, they are extensively chipped; place WiFi password in a more visible place like kitchen countertop, it was in a kitchen drawer.

Nice place in great location

First, you can’t be the location. If you want ski on/ski off and access to the villages restaurants and amenities this is the place for you. Second, it is an nicw and clean place that has everything you need. A very comfortable king bed with lots of storage in the bedroom for clothes. A sizable kitchen and a good size living area. A TV in the common area and the bedroom are nice as is the washer and dryer. Also the lockers on the first floor for skis and boots is very convenient. The gondola is literally a minute walk. Last, access to the fitness center and hot tubs are a plus. Highly recommend.

Good But…..

We stayed in this condo during August. The “village” was dead and very few merchants open or were closed when they said they would be open. Our Dish tv in the living room did not work. Talked to Sylvia but got no help. The hair dryer would work for 10 seconds and quit. The location was good in that the drive to the golf courses played was easy. Truckee was close and provided some restaurants that we enjoyed. Parking in the basement was easy and convenient.
