TAHOE DONNER AMENITIES
You will be provided guest passes that permit access and discount pricing at numerous Tahoe Donner recreational amenities such as the Trout Creek Recreation Center, Snow Play Area (has sledding), and Tahoe Donner Ski Area (ideal for beginners/families with kids). Tahoe Donner boasts a premier Nordic center with 70 km of trails, excellent for both beginner and advanced cross country skiers. Five minutes away, The Trout Creek Recreation Center has an exercise facility with state of the art exercise equipment, fitness classes, an adult lap pool that is heated to 82 degrees year-round, saunas, and massage treatments.

In the non-winter months, the Tahoe Donner amenities include a private beach on the east side of Donner Lake, where you can enjoy a BBQ, swimming, boat/kayak rentals and the use of the private boat launch. Crawdad fishing is a favorite of the kids in the marina. There are three swimming pools, tennis courts and bocce ball courts. Also biking trails, hiking, campgrounds and a world-class 18 hole golf course. Oh yes, there is also an equestrian center with pony rides for kids. Tahoe City and Kings Beach are less than 15 miles away.

One lesson we've learned about the great outdoors is the frequent requirement to wipe down the deck furniture. Despite our efforts to maintain the utmost cleanliness for your convenience, it seems that nature is working against us. You may need to wipe down the outdoor table, chairs, and any other outdoor seating. The dust and pollen accumulates within a matter of hours.

Warm and cozy with great design

We were so happy with our stay. This house was perfect for our family in terms of layout. House was very clean with well appointed kitchen. Design was modern yet warm. Everything worked well from wifi and TV to the great gas fireplace. Kids toys were wonderful for our little one. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Family Getaway!

We absolutely loved our week long family stay at Lourdes' home. It was the perfect place for our family to relax and also take advantage of the great amenities at Tahoe Donner. We especially enjoyed the Beach Marina and the hiking trails. We will definitely come again!

Perfect snow getaway with the family

Lourdes' home was the perfect place for my family and me to stay! The home was clean and cozy, had fun toys and board games for the kids, and all the amenities we needed. The private backyard was the perfect place to play in the snow and go sledding! The location is convenient to places like Kings Beach as well as delicious places to order food from in downtown Truckee. Lourdes was extremely thoughtful and accommodating, and we'd definitely love to stay here again in the future!

A No-Stress Escape

If you're looking to get away without roughing it, this place is perfect. All I was looking for was a quiet backyard, a big stove, grill and a comfy couch in close proximity to a beach, and Lourdes' property ticked all the boxes. The house was sparkling and disinfected (and there were more cleaning products under the sink) so we were totally at ease. Lourdes was a great communicator and checked in to make sure everything was going as planned. We'll totally stay here again the next time we're looking to escape the city!
