We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Good beds, nice kitchen, comfortable living room. Our adult children loved the location with the shuttle from the property. I was injured so it was a bit of a long trek on crutches from the parking lot.
Very comfortable and clean condo. We were prepared for the walk from the parking lot but it is something to consider in the winter.

A+ location, C- accomodations
Location is fantastic, which is what makes it worthwhile - just a half mile to the Northstar Village; takes under five minutes on the free shuttle.
Unit itself is not great. The home (especially the bathrooms) are about 10 years overdue for a remodel and the furnishings are well worn. There's lots of clutter and owner locked off half of the closets for their own use.
Think 3-star motel quality.

Found the right place to stay!
Had a wonderful 5 days here in August. The resort activities, trails in the area, the towns of Truckee and Lake Tahoe and the condo itself(with those fabulous aspen trees outside) made it for us! We would return to the condo each evening and enjoy the cool night temperatures on our porch with the sun setting against the mountainside. Everything in the condo was there to make it easy. Kitchen and living area make up one floor with bedrooms on the other two floors.
Unit is within the Northstar community. The unit is as described. The only negative is the location. The unit is quite far and downhill from the parking lot so not convenient for walking with ski boots and carrying skis up the long and uphill walkway to catch the bus.
Everything about this place was great. There was extra paper towels, toilet paper, firewood... it's the little things. Plenty of space for two teenagers and four adults. Super close to the resort and to Truckee (which is a really cool little town). I guess you could walk to Northstar Village, but honestly why would you since a shuttle can pick you up at your doorstep (end of the sidewalk). We would stay here again.
The condo had everything we needed, comfy beds, cooking items, extra blankies, plenty of towels, dish soap, laundry soap, TP, paper towels and a shuttle to Northstar. We saw the guys snowplowing and shoveling every day. Beautiful views and a little stream outside of the balcony. We bought a box of fire logs and enjoyed the fireplace nightly. We did not go to the hot tub, but it is worth noticing it is pictured and listed as an amenity, but if anyone wants to use the pool, hot tub or game room, it is 10 per person per day. It is not actually included in eve pricing for the stay. The amount of steps along the walkway was not an issue for our family, but if someone has a problem with their heart, hip or knee (anything that causes a walking hardship), they should understand this is not a spot where you park and walk directly to the condo. The window blind in the front first floor room and the slider door of the living room were not functional, but we made it work. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely choose it again.
This condo is really close to Northstar Village and the free shuttle transport is very convenient. Check-in was simple and the management company was very responsive to questions. The house is well set up for kids with a bunk room with games, security gates for babies, etc. It snowed on our last night and the HOA had the sidewalks cleared promptly.
We booked this condo last minute (~2 months in advance for a holiday weekend) so there was very little inventory left. But as frequent Northstar visitors, we can confidently say that there are usually better options for less. The condo is much more dated than it appears in pictures. The mattresses are threadbare (some with visible springs when we stripped the beds), the furnishings and fixtures very worn, and there was food in the house that expired in 1999 (not an exaggeration). Everything was clean but shabby. The management company also forewarns you of this but you need to bring your own provisions: we went out and bought cooking oils, dish sponges, and trash bags, for just a few examples.
The location/shuttle still made the stay worthwhile but we promptly pre-booked our 2023 ski lodging elsewhere after this experience.
The property was clean and provided ample seating and sleeping spaces. The outdoor spaces were not large but added room for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors. The updated kitchen was well-appointed and created a nice gathering space. All in all, the unit was great, and I'd definitely stay there again.
I'm not sure where to even start about parking, finding this condo and the walk from your car down to the condo. It should have been highlighted and in bold print that the walk is 100 YARDS down a path with steps and snow. More steps up to the condo, more steps into the house. Nearly impossible to get your luggage down especially with snow. We used sleds to get the luggage back to the car! This really should be better noted as someone handicapped could never do this.
The house is 3 stories with rooms on each story and very small hallways which makes it hard to maneuver. The bathrooms are tiny. The kitchen is great but the rest of the house is VERY dated.

Had fun, didn't break the bank
Spent a 3-day weekend here with friends and had great time. The place was spotless and there was plenty of space for a group of 6. We enjoyed easy access to and from the slopes thanks to the shuttle. After dinner, we checked out the recreation center to socialize in the hot tubs. It was snowing heavily while we soaked our ski-weary muscles. Great place. The condo even came equipped with a guitar!
