A real gem, beautiful setting and lovely coastline. Would be even better in warmer months (I visited in early January)
If you're spending some time in Tropea Old Town, Rotonda Beach and Diocesan Museum are top sights worth seeing.

Dock your boat at Tropea’s main harbor, which has space for about 450 boats of varying sizes as well as lots of useful amenities.
Sitting high on a chunk of rock jutting out into the sea, this iconic medieval-style monastery is an icon of the town of Tropea.
Look for a revered Byzantine icon of the town’s patron saint, Madonna of Romania, as well as two unexploded World War II bombs in this centuries-old cathedral.
See religious themed sculptures, frescoes and reliquary busts as well as exhibits covering ancient burial practices in this ecclesiastical museum.
Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Palombaro Cave during your travels in Tropea. While you're in the area, stroll along the seaside.
Learn about the local history of Tropea with a stop at View of the Corso.

Amazing town . The Pizzas from Vecchio Pizzeria were the best we had during our 3 weeks in Italy
