Beautiful 5-bedroom log home with spacious rooms and rustic charm.
8/10 Good
"The host is very communicative, polite, and responsive. I really appreciated her help when we reached out with questions. The home was very clean and well stocked. We planned to stay here because the home was described as having air conditioning. The main living area has two mini split units and stays cool and one bedroom has a mini split. No other bedrooms had AC units. In my experience, the other rooms only comfortably cooled off late at night with open windows and fans blowing (we stayed in July when it is hot). There were no curtains in the bedrooms, so if you are sensitive to morning light waking you up, you will want to bring a sleeping eye mask. The home was also hard to find, but the host was available by phone to help us find the home. The driveway to the home is a dirt road with stones, and there is only a very small front yard, which looks different from the listing photos."
"We really enjoyed our stay. It was obvious the cabins have been updated recently and they have everything you need to stay comfortably. One downside is we couldn’t park near our cabin. So we had to haul everything in. This wasn’t terrible, it was just unforeseen. Beds and pillows were extra comfy. And we enjoyed the new furnishings. It was great having access to the dock- which there was good fishing from and the neighborhood was quiet. "
"We overall had a great time and enjoyed our stay, the cabin worked for what we needed and the lodge was a fun addition giving us a dart tournament experience while watching a football game we didn’t want to miss. The dock looks newly redone and we enjoyed a lot of our time there and fishing catching trout and perch. For others planning their stay I think it’s important to know you do not park next to your cabin, but need to park above and pack your stuff down to the cabin which we were so thankful we thought to bring our wagon as our large cooler does not have wheels. My parents also have a difficult time walking in general and on "
