"As a solo traveller commuting by bus I stayed one night stay in Newgrange hotel . I loved my room, the fact that my window could open my window outwards. I had ablovely breakfast to.include toast fruit small fry/ tea as requested and a small danish. I found staff attentive in the restaurant, morning and evening. The hotel public toilets were spotless. "

"Peaceful village stay. Lovely, peaceful stay at Daly Inn. The staff and locals are very welcoming. Property new decorated, warm and cosy. Showers are powerful&always hot. Bed comfy. Daly Inn Bar/Restaurant - just one the way - serves lunch and evening meals - sports on tv 1 - staff are wonderful. Aroma cafe across the road, daybreak shop and donore takeaway - all great business. Please support. I will book again and return to Donore "

"We booked this for the ability to have 4 beds. The place is nice but it's a bit past it's prime and showing it's age. The biggest challenge for us was the road noise from the highway right outside the window. The pub and food onsite were great. "

"Johnstown Estate looks great on the outside, on the inside however it has some issues. For a high class hotel, staff seem a bit disorientated at times when it gets busy. I stayed in a twin room with my friend. It was clean but smallish. Main issue in room heating would not work. My friend suffers from a long term illness and cannot be cold. It took several times for maintenance to fix heating, it subsequently came on for a couple of hours then went back off. We should have been offered a room change, disappointing. Lovely grounds but not used to full advantage especially with seating outdoors when weather is nice. Stayed in Dunboyne Castle the night before and have to say it was a much better esperience overall. "

"We had a great time in the hotel. Absolutely no complaints. Bedroom was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Waiting staff and the breakfast need a special mention. Breakfast was served at the table and was both very tasty and very hot. I look forward to another visit "
