Wonderful stay at the Caravogue House

We had an excellent stay at the Caravogue House B&B. The room was large and clean, the shower had the best water pressure in our entire Ireland trip, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Highly recommended!

This was our first time at a B&B and oh my god this was amazing. This reminded me of a cozy cottage, the property had lots of parking and as soon as you walk in to the house you are greeted by Caroline with a wonderful smile. The rooms are so nice and comfortable, after a long flight and drive the bed was like heaven. It’s a must visit for sure.

Rob, the host was super friendly. We were arriving late and he easily accommodated us. Breakfast was bountiful. The B&B is a short walk to town and the castle - better than driving.

Our hosts were very welcoming. Great room- very comfortable beds and linens. Small bathroom but very adequate and a wonderful shower! Very nice breakfast – nice choice of breads, cereals, and yogurt. A hot breakfast could be cooked order. Trim is a beautiful little town with a nice selection of excellent restaurants and things to see. We really enjoyed staying here.

Perfect start to our Ireland trip. You will not find more gracious or attentive hosts. The room was beautiful and the shower pressure was the BEST in my entire life. Town is a very easy 5 to 10 min walk. No need to deive after parking in their large easy fenced lot. Amazing place to stay and we will be back, hopefully, soon.

Comfort near the airport

Lovely property, very convenient for the airport and in a charming town with good restaurants and walks. Great host, excellent comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. The only negative is that the walls are thin, but that's not the host's fault. Would return and recommend!

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Caravogue. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Trim Castle and restaurants. Easy, free onsite parking. We booked a family room. It is cozy but spotlessly clean. Our host provided delicious homecooked full Irish breakfast on top of buffet style continental breakfast items. We will return to this hotel again.

The view from this property is wonderful! It is conveniently located from Trim and the castle, so you can easily walk and take a tour whenever you prefer. It is easy to get a cab for a trip into Dublin, however, there are many wonderful restaurants and sites to see in the local area. The owner is fantastic, and so kind! I highly recommend staying here, and I hope to be back again!

This place made us feel like we had gone back in time. It was beautiful and so quiet. The host was amazing. I didn’t realize I was supposed to check in before 9pm. We got there around 10pm and she was waiting for us.

We had an outstanding stay and the beds were so comfortable. After 30 hours of no sleep, I hit the bed and was out. We awoke to an amazing breakfast cooked to order. The breakfast was next level! The room was very tidy and stocked with all the necessities. I wish we could have stayed longer in Trim. Just a beautiful quiet town with an amazing accommodation.

I cannot say enough good things about this lovely bed and breakfast ! Everything was just above and boyond my expectations. The room was lovely, beds were divine, and the bedding and towels so luxurious... the bathroom was spotless, shower was great, and lots of little touches to make you feel pampered. We stayed in the 'family' room, with two double beds and a queen, and had our teenage son with us. Caroline is the most gracious host, our breakfast was wonderful, and she had lots of great suggestions for things to do during the day. We walked to the Trim Castle and did the tour, and found various pubs keep us entertained in the evening, one even had live music. Grocery stores and shops were also just a 10 minute walk. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, in fact, I am already counting the days until I can return!

Little things easy to fix

Nice place nice friendly welcome. Room too hot though at night no controls on radiators had to open window. Shower ceiling paint coming away could easily be fixed. Small improvements needed. Jam at breakfast - butter in evening. Choice/menu at breakfast. But good value and pleasant.
