Stayed for three nights in 3rd floor honeymoon suite. The room was quite large and comfortable. On the first night the heating didn't work, but when I mentioned it to staff the next day they had a new heater in the room within 10 minutes. Breakfast and dinner in the western buffet was generally of a high standard, although the Chinese restaurant was less impressive. A beautiful and peaceful stay. From the drivers who picked us up and dropped use back to Taichung. To every single staff member at hoshinoya that we encountered all were courteous and super helpful. The room and amenities were great and the garden was our favourite thing, from the deck outside the library especially in the evening watching the birds was so relaxing. What a lovely place to spend some quiet time to relax.
