A Home to Relax and Unwind
This is a home that wears its history with ease, with blackened ceiling beams, whitewashed stone walls and three crackling log burners set into wide original fireplaces. You will find leather Chesterfield sofas to sink into, a piano in the dining room, wall-mounted TVs and a retro stereo system complete with LPs, singles and cassettes. After a day on the trails, the bubbling hot tub tucked beside the farmhouse is a fine place to soak under the stars.

• Kitchen: a sociable beamed family kitchen with a butcher`s block island and bar stools, gas hob, double oven, microwave, solid oak worktops, a wooden dresser and a log burner in the stone fireplace, plus a comfy sofa
• Dining room: an extendable table seating the whole party beneath blackened beams, with a piano, leather sofas and another working log burner; an additional dining table is available for larger groups
• Lounge: soft leather sofas gathered around a log burner, a wall-mounted TV and a window seat catching the garden light

• Bedroom 1 (First Master): two king beds plus a double fold-down sofa bed, exposed stone and beams, en-suite shower room (sleeps 5)
• Bedroom 2 (Second Master): super king sleigh bed plus two sofa beds, soaring vaulted ceiling, ancient beams, fireplace and dressing table, en-suite wet room (sleeps 5, flexible set-ups available)
• Bedroom 3: a cosy double with an exposed stone beam and garden views
• Bedroom 4: four bunk beds reached down a low characterful doorway, a hit with younger guests (sleeps 4)

Location
Set among the wooded hillsides of the Rhondda Valley near Treherbert, this is a peaceful pocket of South Wales loved by walkers, cyclists and outdoor types, with footpaths winding straight up into the hills. There are good pubs within walking distance and bigger adventures a short drive away.
