What a wonderful cottage! The grounds are beautiful with lovely places to sit by the water and a screened-in gazebo for when the sun is too hot. The interior of the cottage is clean and nice. There's a good-size dining room and dining room table, two comfortable couches in the living room, and streaming and audio equipment (that we didn't use). The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with cookware; flatware; spices and seasonings; and a microwave, coffee maker, and other culinary gizmos. The bedrooms are small but adequate, and the bathroom has a large shower stall with excellent shower heads and water pressure.The location is on Lovesick Lake near Lock 28, so it's perfect for access to Stoney Lake as well. A great location for great paddling!Ed and Karen were ideal hosts. They provided plenty of information and were always immediately responsive to messages. A pleasure to deal with.I definitely want to stay here again if I come back to the Kawarthas.
