Pleasant stay right on the beach. Rooms are a little musty, small baths , old carpets but outdoors are very well maintained, constantly cleaned. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had a great stay with family on with lots of beach time.

From the exterior the building looks older, that's where it ends. The rooms have been remodeled, including the bathroom with tall shower heads, newer mattresses. Rooms were clean with taller mini fridge and freezer as well as microwave. Groomed beach area for watching sunsets, as well as grassy area if you want to off the sand. Overall it was reasonably priced and would stay again.

Ok so this is the smaller sister resort to Baywatch. I had the spa room and it was beautiful. The giant tub made my whole weekend. If you remotely like baths or hot tubs… Book it. I only had one issue with the property. Both nights people were up screaming and stomping through the hallways until after midnight or later. We didn’t get back until after 11 one night and it wasn’t quiet through the halls by any means. I would put a sign in your office enforcing quiet hours.

Unfortunately, our stay at Beach Haus was disappointing. While the location near Lake Michigan is beautiful, the property itself didn't match the expectations set by the photos and price. The room felt dated and lacked the level of cleanliness and upkeep we expected. We also found the overall experience to be underwhelming, and the amenities didn't justify the cost. Breakfast was okay but minimal, and the property felt more like a basic motel than the boutique lakeside stay we were hoping for. We could hear guests in the hallways and through the walls up until 2am. The wall a/c unit was so loud and vibrated the walls and floor making it difficult to sleep as well. The best part of Beach Haus is its proximity to the beach, but there are likely better values elsewhere. We left wishing we had chosen a different place to stay.

Calling this a "resort" is misleading. It is essentially a motel on the lake. We took the only room available, which happened to be an accessible room, and discovered that it had no closet whatsoever. There were two short hooks on the wall made out of plumbing pipes where you are supposed to hang all your clothes. This was very disappointing and a constant nuisance, and not something you would ever expect in a real "resort." The room was pretty clean except for the bathroom floor, which needed cleaning. Since the bathroom was "accessible," there was no sill or barrier to keep the water from running out onto the floor. This is understandable, but the water actually ran under the bathroom door, and out the main entry door into the hall. Our showers created a small puddle in the hall every morning. The sliding glass door out to the lake was old and difficult to slide open or closed. The backyard area down to the beach was actually pretty nice. There were sitting areas and a small lawn between the back door and the beach. The beach was fine. The free continental breakfast was nothing special. We were there 4 nights and the pastries were always a little stale. We paid over $450 per night, It should be more like $200 at most.
