1. Comfort Aparthotel Carcassonne

Carcassonne

"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."

"Apartment was very clean and in a perfect position to explore. Very quiet too.Several good restaurants 2 minutes walk away and more in the Medieval City. There are a few different walking routes up to the Chateau but none were too strenuous (we are in our 60’s & 70’s)There’s a lovely Épicerie just 2 doors away where you can buy fresh baguettes, cheese, wine and other provisions, the staff there are extremely friendly. This was our first time in France and it was beyond our expectations."

"I booked this lovely Carcassone apartment for a friend who was visiting from England solo, and he absolutely loved it. One of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in . Stefanie and Andre runs the hotel and are most attentive and service was impeccable. We received lots of tips and where to go around Carcasonne . We ate at the restaurant 2 out of the 3 nights we were at the hotel . The food was fresh and well prepared . Breakfast was prepared to our specifications and for €16 a head it was plentiful and we could not ask for more . We love this hotel and we will definitely be back .

The owners, BJ and Iris, were so friendly and efficient, yet not intrusive. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast and it was ready at that time. They offered suggestions on places of interest and restaurants. The view from the breakfast area was stunning and the rooms were spacious, offering a very comfortable king size bed but also extras like a direct USB connection for charging the phone. Our stay was truly memorable. Thank you, BJ and Iris
