"Really neat place! There are only a couple rooms, and the bathrooms are shared because the building is really old. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed it. It’s a little busier, and there is a bar directly below that sometimes has live music - so if that’s not your thing, don’t book here. My wife and I loved it!"

"The location was wonderful and this was our favorite lodging on our trip. We had some moose and a fox walk right past the porch and amazing views of the water. It was so peaceful. The check-in couldn't have been easier and very friendly staff. If we make it back to Alaska we will definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean, well stocked, had everything I could possibly need, super comfy beds, warm, spacious, parking, near to Main Street of downtown Talkeetna. Met cool traveling people. We had no issues at all sharing a bathroom or one of the shower rooms at all. When I woke up the coffee was brewing and the conversation was fun! Percect for families who need many (seperate) bedrooms/beds but share sofas and a big kitchen and 8-seat kitchen table (plus counter stools). Washers inside if needed. Benches outside if needed. We had a great stay. Thank you!! "

"The Owner was amazing. He picked us up from the train station, took us around the town to show us the locations that were open. He was accommodating to our requests and their son played in the snow with our son. This was a 5/5 experience. Would recommend to anyone. "

"We were greeted with a freshly baked loaf of bread and fresh cinnamon buns. Delicious. The lodge was just as pictured. The beds were comfortable. There was lots of room for our group of 7. Great hang out relaxing space as well. The host checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely rent again. "
