  • Welcome to Strand Oceanview Retreat, a comfortable two-bedroom apartment positioned along Townsville’s iconic Strand with beautiful views towards the ocean.

    Start the morning with a coffee on the private balcony, take a walk along the waterfront or head out to explore the cafés, restaurants and swimming areas nearby. With one of Townsville’s most popular locations right outside, it’s easy to make the most of the city without travelling far.

    The Space

    The apartment offers a comfortable and practical layout for couples, families, friends or guests travelling for work.

    There are two bedrooms with three beds in total, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for small groups. The apartment also features a full bathroom plus an additional toilet, making it particularly convenient when travelling with multiple guests.

    Inside, you’ll find air-conditioning throughout, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area for relaxing between days out exploring Townsville.

Was an excellent location, unit was well set up and had everything you need, the only downfall was the shower, which is 2 way ( shared by both bathrooms ).

The location was great at the eastern end of the Strand, so there was road noise but that was to be expected. The usual token level of cleaning was evident i.e. glasses pots and pans were smeared and dirty. The usual clutter in draws but it was ok

Location was perfect. It is in a beautiful spot pity about the cleanliness of the apartment.Pantry was dirty / sticky with an oily residue and smelt of curry. Could not and would not use the inside of the pantry.2. Kitchen cabinet doors and handles were sticky and need a good thorough wipe over.3. The 2 top drawers in the kitchen had something spilt on them and not cleaned.4. Dryer had items of clothing in them which were not ours. I left them on the kitchen bench. The filter had not been cleaned of fluff.5. The toaster was full of crumbs which I cleaned out.6. The inside of the kitchen bin had not been cleaned and the outside had spillage on it.7. The shower had orange mould on the bottom of the wall tiles where it met the floor tiles. This could be cleaned with a brush. 8. The bathroom tiles were dirty. The soles of our feet were dirty after walking on these.9. A packet of tissues were under the single bed which were not ours. So obviously this had not been cleaned.10. The mop cupboard smelt of wet mop when we opened it.11. Lounge dirty – needs a steam clean.12. No hairdryer or coffee pod machine.
