Cheap and Comfortable
A good stay considering the price - can’t really complain. Beds were comfortable. Midges around but kept windows closed and that stopped the bites. A few spider webs around the place but otherwise quite clean.

Spacious home in a quiet cul-de-sac
I stayed here for a night with my mum. It’s such a spacious space with large bedrooms (and comfy beds) and a nice shower and bathtub, and only a few mins’ drive from town. Check-in and communication with the owner was easy, and the basic brekky goods was a bonus. Absolutely no complaints, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Had a event in town so wanted to stay somewhere close by the unit was lovely only thing is wish had a full length mirror and a power point closer to bed and maybe extra pillows apart from that very homey feel

Thanks for feedback. There is now a full length mirror and you may have missed the extra pillows and blankets that are kept in wardrobe.

Great value stay close to city.
Had a great stay, very comfortable well appointed 3 bedroom unit perfect for a family. Only downside was a few sandflies outside on the second day when the breeze dropped off, used the supplied mosquito coils to keep them away.

Very good location only few minutes to the city. Nice clean house very quiet area but the 2 big dogs next door bark at our small dogs when they want to do their business it made them scared becauae they can see thru the fence.

This a well situated property that is close to Townsville city and the Strand. It is located in a quiet area where there is no through traffic. The house is well appointed with everything you would want for a long or short stay.

Pia's Place. Clean, comfortable accommodation with everything provided in very convenient location.
This was our first HomeAway visit and I'm sure it will not be our last. The accommodation is clean, very comfortable and equipped beyond our expectations with ceiling fans, aircon, electric cooker with oven, microwave, electric jug, sandwich maker and a comprehensive selection of cooking implements, dining ware and cutlery. Breakfast cereals, milk and bread sufficient for a couple of days is provided. Equipment and toys are provided to cope with young children.There is an ironing board and iron, a hair dryer in the bathroom and good hot water. We selected Pia's Place because it is listed as pet friendly. To this end the car port is enclosed at the front by a gated mesh fence and leads out to a garden at the side and rear which has plenty of shade and is dedicated to our furry friends. It was ideal for this purpose. Although not immediately obvious from the map Pia's Place is in an extremely convenient yet quiet location. There is a convenience store within 2 minutes walk. Within 2 minutes by car is a basic ozzy takeaway which does good fish & chips and burgers and a massive boat launching facility accessing Ross River - 2 x 5 lane ramps & huge car park. 5 mins in the car takes you to an area of restaurants, cafes and pubs along Palmer Street which is close to the Yacht Club and Magnetic Island ferry. A similar distance across the bridge is the CBD, Flinders Mall and numerous bars, coffee shops and eateries. The beach front, Breakwater Marina and Casino are not much further as is access to Castle Hill and Castletown Shopping Centre. Highways to both North & South are readily accessed. Our only problem was that the map indicates access from Boundary Street to 10th Avenue. which does not exist. Turn right from Boundary St to Saunder's St and take 3rd on the left which is Ninth Lane past St Francis Xavier Church. I am sure that future visitors will enjoy their stay.

Home away from home
Pia's place is so lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, clean, airy and a super comfy bed, the neighborhood is so quiet(just watch the neighbours black and white cat he's a little fiesty lol) and town is only a cheap uber ride away. Pia's will be our home away from home again for sure😀

Love Pia's place. Its clean tidy, everything works including really cool air conditioning.
Have stayed with at Pia's before and the home is exactly what I like in a short term house. Close to the city but quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Happy with the accommodation and it’s location, comfortable and easy access for my elderly parents
A couple of small issues were The kitchen had a small ant & cockroach problem and the kitchen pots and lids did not match. Other then that we were very pleased and will re book this accomodation again in the future. Thanks
