"Definitely deep water cove, while the rest of the lake was low this residence was not affected. Fishing and kayaking was great. Pet friendly for our mini doxi . Had a wonderful stay"

"Thw reason I gave the crappy rating is because the towels were grayishand not bright white like we've all come to expect at hotels. The lady that worked the evening to night shift seemed annoyed when we arrived and unfortunately set the tone. I was so in disbelief about the towels I had to ask for more but by this time the overnight person was there and yup you guessed it, he was also annoyed. I guess something was broken cause he mentioned something about something but anyway when I told him the see he literally blank stared me for a sec. He did give them to me though. The morning person and the person in the breakfast are pretty much made up for it since they were soooooo pleasant. My daughter had such a good time with the lady in the breakfast area and it really set the tone for the rest of the day. THANK YOU! I wrote this review because Stevie could have seen those towels should have been removed from service but they weren't and they had the nerve to be annoyed with me. Do better Hampton."

"The host was excellent got back to us quickly with questions. The only negatives were the lake was farther than expected from the house and a little steep to get there. Also we unfortunately had an afternoon of rain so decided to do a movie day. The living room furniture is very pretty but not very comfortable to try and watch a movie as there's only a couch with a small ottomen and the other 2 chairs are formal straight wing back chairs. The house did however have all the necessary items you would need to cook a meal, showers were clean and had shampoo/conditioner and soap provided with fresh towels. The town is very close with lots of great food options. We ate at the Boathouse, it was very affordable with great food, live music and views of the lake. The house is set off the road on a very quiet block, met a few of the neighbors who were very friendly as well."

"A great getaway weekend in a quiet area. House was perfect for our family and really enjoyed the back deck. Hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond for us. My daughter left her stuffed puppy and they were kind enough to mail it back to her with a sweet note! Would stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (although, the ventilation fan on the kitchen hood might be broken). This was the perfect escape - loved having a private dock to hang out on during the day! Beautiful property and very friendly neighbors!"
