"What a beautiful Chateau! The owner tells me that they spent 5 years restoring it. It is wonderful. Be aware they only offer dinner on Saturday nights - I checked before. The good news is they do cheese and charcuterie boards. This suited me down to the ground. A glass of red wine and I was very happy. Charming owners too. Great if you use as a stopover en route as only 15 mins from Bordeaux and 5 mins from the motorway. Sweet little village too."

As an extra bonus, Tess, Daphne and Celia were there to serve and help us with all of our needs. The breakfast that was served was always the best of the best, including homemade jams.
