I booked this property through Expedia and expected all communication and payments to be handled securely through the platform. However, I received a confusing phone call from a lady who said we needed to pay a $300 deposit through a link she would send by email before check-in. Her English was difficult to understand, and after several attempts, we finally found two of her emails in our junk folder. We couldn’t check in until we paid the deposit through that link, and felt very suspicious. The whole experience made us extremely uncomfortable, and we only proceeded with the payment hoping it wasn’t a scam. Even though the booking was listed as non-refundable, I’m requesting a refund due to how unsafe and misleading this process felt. This situation was not what we expected from an Expedia booking. ***Great location downtown and that’s it

One night too many. This accommodation took the cake for the dirtiest, most inconvenient and worst customer service ive ever experienced. I was almost impressed on how bad of shape this room was, but then i realized no effort was put in to maintaining it in the first place. There is so many negative things i want to say about this place, i dont know where to begin. Room: Check-in was at 16:00. Never received instruction on how to check in from the host until 17:00. They host said the room was "on the verge of being finished" when we checked in. When opening our door to the room, I was shocked to say the least. It was a total pigs pen. Bedding all over the floors, pillows from the couch on the floor, old urine from the previous guest in the toilet, old food in the counter, cigarette butts on the Patio. It looked like someone had trashed the place. Upon closer review of the property, things got worse. There were floor boards missing and loose. You could see the plywood under the hardwood. Broken mirrors, broken screens on the windows. Scratches all over the walls as well as holes and crackes in the ceiling and walls. There was red/yellow mildew in the showers. Broken toilet seats. An inch of mold and dust under appliances The place looked absolutely trashed. This wasnt a single persons doing, all this damage had happened over the course of months and multiple stays. The ad says it was a "Luxury" condo on expedia. Luxury is the last word i would use to describe this place

We had multiplie issues with our condo. The biggest one was that we had no hot water to shower the entire trip! We are two women and were attending a professional conference. It was unacceptable. We called every day and they never fixed it or moved us to another room. Our wifi also didht work for an entire day and our coffee maker was broken and we never got it replaced. The rooms were dirty and stains on carpet. The view however was excellent and the staff were very nice

The check in was difficult and even when directions were followed took nearly 40 min. The space was in bad repair with broken windows and broken mirror. In the middle of the night someone was given the key and entered the space - we checked out first thing in the morning after one night and stayed the rest of our time somewhere else.

This is clearly a condo tower that they’re just renting empty condos out. The staff only works off WhatsApp which is a bit sketchy and the concierge on site isn’t super helpful. Once I got into the room finally the bed smelled like farts, the light outside the bathroom was broken and was just a fixture, the housekeepers ran the washer and dryer and it was making a noise while I was trying to sleep which was super annoying, and the elevators were either not working or completely crowded. Overall it wasn’t a great experience and I would’ve rather stayed probably anywhere else. The whole time I just felt unwelcome.

The room could have been cleaner. There was only the fitted sheet and a duvet on the bed. Thought it odd that there wasn’t a flat sheet on the bed. Could not control temperature in the room. Only one working elevator so checking in took longer than expected. There had also been a false fire alarm that afternoon which may have affected ability to clean thoroughly.

The check-in process was tedious. Everything is directed outside of Expedia. They send info through WhatsApp for payment that feels scammy fyi. The company - Bay Suites - sends too many links: one for Pre- Payment, then one was for deposit then one for check-in. Then when we got to the property, we have to fill in all the same info there on iPad, directed by an obviously exhausted security guard. When we finally get up to the suite- see that the toilet has just been used -it was all ovrer seat and it smells ( like the person isn't well, if you know what I mean ), and the sofa bed is broken! . The place was listed as a place for 6 to sleep but the broken bed made that not possible. I let the admin know to know avail.. I even said small refund should be issued for this and they ignored me repeatedly. Wont be booking with service again.

Definitely difficulties getting into the place. No concierge services, just security? Not very helpful. Place was overall dusty and worn. Mattress and broken door on deck? Careful on floor boards, I snagged my feet. And the walls were filthy. Almost like they were remodeling while renting? What I liked was location, space and available coffee and coffee machine. We came in very late, and the on call support stayed with us to help navigate our parking and access to the condo.

I DO NOT ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO STAY HERE. I couldn’t even stay I ended up leaving after noticing uncleanliness throughout the executive suite. When I contacted the staff or whoever is responsible for the apartment they tried to tell me that they got a video from their cleaner, and that it was properly cleaned…. So basically implying that I was lying….. and refused to refund me.

I truly wish I had seen the reviews on this property before I booked. I had the worst experience with my check-in and stay. The elevators were constantly broken and not working. Upon my check in, I had to lug my heavy suitcase up 18 flights of stairs to get to my floor. My room was still not ready at 4:55pm as the cleaner was still doing prepping my room for me. The wait times to use the elevators were long and frustrating when they were intermittently working. I had to check-in virtually online before arrival, then again in person with the security at the front desk which was quite frustrating. Lastly, the unit itself had lots of wear and stains on walls and upholstery for being a fairly new building. It didn't feel very clean. I would avoid this place at all costs.
