Staff was amazing. We stayed on the Gold Level which was well worth the extra charge. The food was wonderful and almost continuous in service. Walking distance to Opera, Broadway shows. And directly across from the train station.

World class, they have queen elizabeth and King Charles signed memorabilia in the lobby. Beautiful art deco restaurant lobby. went for an overnight with my daughter to catch a bluejays game and do some shopping and they upgraded us to exclusive suite floor 16. Unforgettable room and accommodations. Such sweet and positive staff from bellhops to room service to check in to text message concierge service. Thank you Fairmont!

Not to the standards of other fairmont hotels. Very noisy in the middle of the night. Despite asking concierge on several occasions to address noise in the hallways, it continued. Rooms outdated, small, and dark. My room didn’t even have a tub. Not worth the cost.

The regular hotel service is fine and the building and facilities are nice. The reception desk service isn’t good. They don’t provide you a final receipt at checkout and wrongly added one extra night stay on my account. I had to spend decent effort working with Expedia on that. Awful post-stay experience.

If they put the same amount of money and effort into the rooms as they do the main areas this would be a 5 star but the rooms are worn down and dated. The other downfall was that the shower water pressure was weak and sputtering at points. Service staff helped to make up for the room deficiencies.

Stayed this hotel because of the brand “Fairmont” but it was horrible experience ever. Very old air conditioning system that made us frozen and concierge never picked up my call. Also the valet parking fee was not acceptable. They charged us daily basis not hours for the parking. In addition, the valet parking area is very small tiny and valet people could not even manage the traffic in the parking area. Public parking near the hotel was not really accessible easily too. Don’t really recommend this hotel if you plan to stay Toronto downtown area.

The hotel is nice and convenient when we stay in downtown TO. The rooms are nice, but the Signature rooms are dated and the washrooms in them are very small. The cost for an older room is unbelievable at times. We continue to stay there b/c of the familiarity and convenience.

You have to pay for WiFi which in this day and age is almost unheard of. The walls are extremely thin. Could hear EVERYTHING the people next door was doing.

We thought we'd treat ourselves but what a disappointment. All three bars had VERY loud music -- we may as well have had a drink in a dance bar. The next morning our elevator got stuck, which could have been a disaster because the emergency phones were not working. Luckily I was able to communicate using my cell phone. But as a result of this delay, we missed the buffet, though we managed to talk our way into it. Very disappointing.
