"Room and breakfast were good. You have to pay for on-site parking, but can park for free on the streets nearby which is a little strange. The on-site parking has only two electric car charging plugs which is not enough (both were occupied when I arrived) and they are very slow. Would recommend that the hotel upgrades the charging facilities."

"Charming, cozy hotel with character. The Kong Carl is conveniently located near the Sandefjord town center, an easy walk from the train station. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The room was as described, complete with mini-fridge and hot water kettle, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel have old-world charm and character. The hotel restaurant is convenient and delicious, with a well-stocked breakfast buffet and superb dinner menu. Walking distance to tasty coffee shops, the Hvaltorvet shopping mall, and the waterfront, among other things. A lovely stay—tusen takk!"
