For several years, this is one of the hotels I stay in when traveling to/from Florida each winter. This year I had bad experiences both coming down on Dec 30 2023 and returning Apr 1 2024. On Dec 30, it took three tries to finally get us into a room where the heating worked. The manager called me a couple of days later to apologize for the inconvenience and gave me some IHG Rewards points. This was a nice touch. Coming home, there were multiple issues. I booked the hotel through Expedia and during check-in, I was told that Expedia did not provide my IHG Rewards number on the reservation. The front-desk person said he would look it up later and add it. When I checked out the next morning, I discovered it was NOT added. When we checked into our room, the heating did not work (same problem as three months earlier). I called down to the front desk and the person came up and got it working. (Someone had turned off a switch on the part that plugs into the power outlet in the wall). The next morning while walking down the stairs from the second floor I found that a guest had dropped garbage in the stairway and it hadn't been cleaned up yet. When we went for breakfast, we discovered that the orange juice dispenser gave out plain water, there was no milk (so couldn't have cereal) and there was no kitchen attendant (didn't show up for work that day). I tried to make pancakes but the unit must have run out of the food input because it only made 1/4 of a pancake.

so I had a misunderstanding about check-in time early check in time and I do believe he was the owner of the hotel accommodated my needs when he did not have to because the mistake was mine but it was an honest mistake because I just did not understand the process. The gentleman was very very kind and understanding and nowadays customer service is not like it used to be so needless to say it was refreshing to come across this gentleman who still had old-school customer service skills I’d like to thank him again! although my card was double charged and I still have not received it back I paid online through this app but they also charged me at the property but I’m sure they will take care of it I’m just not sure the right person was told but I’m calling back but other than that it was a beautiful wonderful stay!

Very nice stay very clean but there was a leaking ceiling when walking in so cold water dripping on you wasn’t so pleasant and the sidewalk is very icey.

Staff very friendly and hotel modern. Room was adequately clean. Had my wife been there then there would have been trouble as the bed linens had not been changed between guests. Found some ones hair in the bed and sheets smelled like perfume. Bathroom was clean enough, barely. Breakfast was far better than I was expecting for a hotel breakfast and morning staff there were helpful and friendly as well.

The staff here is amazing! Everyone here works diligently to make the hotel operate with excellence! Front desk is ginuely kind, housekeeping is exceptionally meticulous, and the cook is very hospitable! The price was definitely fair and the ambiance was accommodating! When I come back to the area I'm coming back to this hotel!

Requested handicapped accessible bathroom- particularly a raised toilet and roll in shower. Instead we had a hot tub ( I’d need a crane to get out of it!) and a regular bathtub and a very low toilet that I could barely get up and off. I am recovering from a knee replacement thanks for adjusting the rate but as a person with a disability I’m not happy overall.

Very convenient location for our needs, nice included breakfast, several dining options nearby. Only negative is the noise from the highway and nearby truck stop. It didn't disturb us but some may be bothered by it when sleeping.
