Had a good stay at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean too and the area was convenient. The train station was 5 mins away for instance.

Room was spacious enough to open 3 large luggages and still have floor space to walk. However, the floor itself was rather dirty (my luggage had lots of dust and dirt stuck to it). Bed and pillows were just nice for me, very comfortable and warm. The blinds were a little confusing to operate.

This is my go-to place to stay in Tokyo. It's close to Ueno station and has easy access to everything you need. If you enjoy walking, you can easily get to Ameyoko, Senso-ji, Skytree, Kappabashi-dori, and even Akihabara. Staff is friendly, and it's a very unique place to stay.

Very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Ueno Station. Easy check in and check out. Across the road is a 711. Exhaust fans in bathroom would be good in winter as high condensation after 4 people showering.

Great stay in the heart of Ueno

Great stay! Prime location. It’s close to Ueno station and the Ueno Kesei Skyliner if you’re flying in from Narita Airport. The rooms are small, and the bathroom layout is different than what you see in most Tokyo hotels, but it’s cozy. Most staff didn’t speak English but they’re so great and will help with anything! Will be back soon!

hotel located pretty close to Ueno JR station, room is clean & tidy. I stay 2 days, there are no cleaning service, need to get towels myself. I feel not a big deal.

The picture on Expedia looks like a nice proper hotel. Surprise to find it hidden along the shops. Have to take an old lift to the lobby. The place is clean as per Japanese standard. Room is big for 3 of us. Looks like student accommodation. No view though. Location very convenient to UENo station. Staff are polite.

Great stay Location Location Location

The stay was great. Staff were nice and explained everything.Check in and out were very easy. Bathroom seems little dated but it's very clean. Location is Excellent 4 min from the station. The only thing is the room has keys instead of the card pass. So don't lose the keys.

Overall pretty good experience. The blinds was letting in light when the sun rises even though it's closed. There's little areas where the light goes through. No room cleaning for consecutive night stay. Also self service to get new towels and amenities and you'll have to throw away trash daily. About 5-8 mins walk to Ueno station which is convenient. There's also 7-11 and Family mart nearby. Staff are friendly and polite. Easy check-in and check-out.
