Incredible value. Very convenient location- train station 1 minute away. Incredible selection of restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and shops in the area. Hotel is in great condition given its age. Room decor and furniture is dated, but very well maintained. Highly recommend.

Unlike some of the hotels I stayed in, this hotel puts a mattress topper on the bed. Also they have sliding shutters on the window so you can block out the light for a Nanna nap. Also great location for trains to Tokyo or Shibuya - plus food and shopping.

I like everything at the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly, the cleaning staff does great work, the hotel is very convenient with the washer, the amenities, Jonathan's, near Shinkoiwa station, great restaurants and shopping around. Very respectful staff, and very helping, there's a restaurant that is annexed to the hotel and the food is very delicious and cost friendly. The train station is only a 1min walk away with convinience stores on the opposite side of the street, very convient location and easy to travel to, would definitely stay there again.

Great location 2 min from station. Great price! Roughly 1000cad for 7 nights!! 20 min metro to Akihabara! Used their luggage storage free of charge, small room but honestly great for the price compared to other hotels in Tokyo, I’m only here to sleep, the main attraction is exploring!! Staff was excellent and easy to work with despite a major language barrier (I only knew a few key phrases and even then didn't remember to use them). Room was small but for the price we paid I'd say it was a great value The breakfast is served by the restaurant attached to the lobby and was a good buffet style meal. Would highly recommend.

This was the first time for our group of four going to Japan. We each had our own room and while they were nothing flashy they had everything you’d need. The hotel staff was very friendly, made us feel comfortable and even helped us ship our luggage to the next hotel. The location is very convenient being just a few minutes away from the train station, konbinis and good restaurants. Shin-koiwa is a nice place away from the big city, while still having everything you need within walking distance.

This hotel is located right near Shin-koiwa station. Easy walk. At this station you can take the rapid line straight into Tokyo central or the local line to Shinjuku and Shibuya. Lumiere shopping mall is nearby. There's about 50 eateries within 10 minutes walk. Rooms are small and compact but if you're out all day it won't matter.
